I was talking to a colleague on a night out and found out his friend in his late 30s died of pneumonia due to complications around his weight. That was my wake up call. But I had three big challenges: knowledge, consistency and accountability.
My concern joining Fit Biz Pro was about the intensity and whether I’d be able to stick to it. But it’s actually been easier to stick to than I thought. And when you see the results, it drives you on.
Since joining, I've lost 19kg in 4 months. I feel a lot less lethargic, have way more engagement and generally a more positive outlook. It has benefitted me in nearly every aspect of life. I’ve seen my self-esteem and confidence grow, and I generally feel more in control of where things are headed. I don’t have this constant feeling of anxiety that not dealing with my weight gave me.
If you’re uncertain about joining, just do it. Don’t put barriers between now and starting. It becomes a constant cycle. If you struggled to stay consistent in the past like I did, the accountability a coach offers is really hard to replicate any other way. And when the plan is tailored to your life, and not one-size-fits-all, it makes it easier to implement as it’s designed to fit your life, not overtake it.
Small changes consistently lead to big changes. And it’s a lot less daunting when you can just focus on the small things.

The program does not encourage you to make drastic changes but to form habits that are attainable and sustainable in the long run!

I was always eating too much and wanting to eat. And doing little to no exercise. I was overdoing it. My turning point was just realising how taking control now would be better for me long-term.
But I had a challenge: Being more disciplined. That’s why my biggest concern joining Fit Biz Pro was the investment and past habits of not following through on something.

I’m a martial artist so I was always pretty fit. But I got into a car accident and couldn’t walk properly or exercise for over 8 months. During that time, I gained over 20kg. I was the biggest I’d ever been in my life and I knew I couldn’t keep going in the same direction.
My biggest challenge was I love food. And while I was injured I did a lot of “comfort eating” which was a hard habit to break.
The 1 thing that made the biggest impact for me was accountability. Having someone to do the process with, check-in with you daily/weekly and give you the occasional keep up the ass really helped.
As a result, I lost the “car accident weight”. And while I definitely did it for myself, it was also nice to hear compliments from friends and co-workers. My girlfriend likes it too!
Working with Alex was one of the best decisions I made. I might have been able to lose all the weight myself, but knowing myself, it probably would have taken longer and been 10x harder.
